What is a heat pump?
A heat pump moves heat from one place to another. In summertime, the heat pump moves heat out of the home, like a traditional air conditioner, to keep your home cool, while in wintertime, the process is reversed and moves heat into the home.
What is capacity and what does it mean?
Heat pump capacity is its heat output at different indoor and outdoor temperatures. Heat pump capacity is affected by outdoor temperature, cooler temperatures outside reduce capacity.
