Canada Greener Home Grant
The Canada Greener Homes Grant Program provides financial assistance for homeowners who are renovating their homes to make them both more energy efficient and more comfortable.
- Grants from $125 to $5,000: To get back a portion of your costs for eligible home retrofits.
- Up to $600: As a maximum contribution toward the total costs of your pre- and post retrofit EnerGuide evaluations

Space Heating Equipment Incentives
Potential Rebate: $150 – $800
You can receive financial assistance from the Rénoclimat, Novoclimat Homes and Novoclimat Small Multiple-Unit Buildings programs when you install an eligible heat pump. Hydro-Québec also provides financial assistance.
The heat pump selected must appear on the list of eligible models at the time of installation and all program conditions must be met.
The Canada Greener Homes Grant also provides financial assistance for the installation or replacement of a heat pump: List of eligible heat pumps in Québec under the Canada Greener Homes Grant.
In Québec, this federal program is available through the Rénoclimat program. Be sure to select a system that is on one of the eligible heat pump lists and meet all of the criteria of the program you have selected.
